Numbing, Scrolling, Overgiving? Here’s Why That’s Actually a Good Sign
Do you celebrate yourself?
These days, I do.
I celebrate with coffee in my favorite mug, quiet moments that align me, deep breaths that call my power back, and dreams that feel deliciously inevitable.
But it wasn’t always this way.
There was a time when “celebration” meant escape.
A drink… that became many.
A craving for relief… that led me further from who I really was.
If you’ve ever been there—reaching for something, anything, to take the edge off—I see you.
And I want you to know: you’re not broken. You’re seeking relief.
And that’s a powerful thing.
From Addiction to Alignment
I don’t often speak to this, but I feel called to share:
I’ve danced with addiction. I’ve known the ache of disconnection, the heaviness of shame, and the ache of loving those who didn’t make it out.
And yet—this path also became my awakening.
It’s been nearly 10 years since I had my last drink. Not because I resisted—but because I remembered who I really am. And when you do that, what no longer aligns falls away.
That’s the magic of alignment.
That’s the Law of Attraction in motion.
What You’re Reaching For Is Already Within You
When you desire to feel better—you're already shifting. You’re tuning into a new frequency.
You’re calling in a reality where Joy, peace, and freedom are your baseline—not your escape.
That longing? That ache for more?
It’s not weakness. It’s wisdom.
So if you’re reaching for something to ease the discomfort…
Maybe you’re reaching for your phone to scroll away the discomfort.
Maybe you’re numbing out with busyness.
Maybe you’re overgiving, overworking, or just trying to hold it all together with shallow breaths and a too-tight smile.
You’re not broken.
You’re seeking relief—and that means you're ready for something more.
Your Becoming Begins With One Breath
So here’s your invitation:
Pause.
Place your hand over your heart.
Take one deep, intentional breath.
And ask yourself, What do I really need right now?
Not what you should do.
Not what someone else expects.
But what your soul is whispering in the quiet moments.
This could be the beginning of your becoming.
This could be the moment that becomes your gift.
This could be the day you start writing the most beautiful chapter of your life—the one where you come home to yourself.
And even if you can’t fully believe it yet, I do. I believe in your magic. I believe in your Joy. I’ll hold the vision for you.
Because your Joy?
It’s inevitable.
And it’s calling you home.
