Life moves fast. Our responsibilities, relationships, and dreams can easily sweep us along in a current of constant doing. But here’s the truth: we need anchors that bring us back to ourselves, again and again.

Those small, intentional moments of reconnection are what keep us steady, grounded, and aligned with who we truly are. They remind us of what matters most. They bring us home.

If I could wave a wand and have everyone practice Joy daily, I would. But here’s the thing I had to learn the hard way: we can’t do for others what they can only choose for themselves.

From Control To Surrender

When I first got sober, I stumbled into meditation. It was so helpful that I tried to push it on everyone I knew. (Spoiler alert… that didn’t go well.)

What I eventually realized was that the best way to encourage others isn’t through convincing or forcing, it’s through modelling. People don’t need us to tell them how to live; they need to see what’s possible when we live aligned with our own Joy.

So, I turned inward. I focused on my own daily Joy rituals, simple, soul-nourishing practices like Joy Journaling, meditation, and grounding habits that brought me back to centre each day.

And slowly, my life began to shift. I felt steadier. Lighter. More myself.

The Ripple Effect Of Living In Joy

As I changed, people noticed, they started asking questions. They leaned in. They wanted to know what had changed and how they could feel it too.

That’s how this work grew, organically and authentically, from my own personal commitment to Joy. Today, what started as my own personal Joy practice has evolved into a thriving community of Joy Warriors and over 30 Certified Joy Facilitators, each sharing Joy in their own unique, beautiful ways.

The point is: when we lead with Joy, others feel it. Our energy becomes contagious. Our light becomes an invitation.
